Product Description
AEO-3 (C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylate 3EO) is a short-chain nonionic surfactant that appears as a white oily substance at room temperature with an HLB value of 6-7. This highly lipophilic compound is readily soluble in oils and polar solvents, and dispersible in water.
As a W/O type emulsifier, it is suitable for emulsifying mineral oils and aliphatic solvents, and can also function as a viscosity reducer for polyvinyl chloride plastisol. AEO-3 serves as a key component in synthetic fiber oiling agents and is widely used in chemical fiber production.
In the daily chemical industry, it is used to prepare AES for cosmetics and detergents. Industrially, it functions as a metal cleaning and detergency agent, and also serves as an emulsifier, dispersant, and wetting agent in oil fields and emulsion polymerization applications. It can also be utilized as a solubilizer and defoamer component.
