PEG-400 Stearate, or Polyethylene glycol monostearate 400, is a liquid polymer with a molecular weight range of 360-440. It is a high-quality pharmaceutical excipient and cosmetic raw material. At room temperature, it appears as a colorless, transparent, viscous liquid with stable chemical properties and excellent heat resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 150℃—far superior to ordinary vegetable oils.
Strictly controlling water content to ≤0.10% effectively improves product formulation quality. It possesses excellent moisturizing, solubilizing, and emulsifying properties, with good compatibility while being non-toxic and mild.
